2026 GIRLS GOLF

PRE-SEASON QUESTIONNAIRE

All athletes must have permission to practice and physical on file before you can practice. Forms all need to be submitted online, they cannot be accepted in person.  If you are unsure of your status, please contact Anna in the athletic training room.

1st Day of Official/Mandatory Practice – March 23 – Outdoor as weather allows – Meet at Brown Deer lower level near putting green after school. 

Spring Break Week- March 16 - Optional Practice available(as weather allows)  but not mandatory as many are out of town. Time each day TBD.

Districts Wednesday, May 20  - Site TBD

State Tourney - Waverly GC -  May 28-29

Practice will be Mon-Thu Immediately after school at Brown Deer. Friday before school as weather allows.

Practice will last approximately 2 hours each day.

Students are on their own to get to practice each day.

A limited number of lockers are available to store clubs at Brown Deer at no charge.

Plan ahead for being outside for practice, even in cold weather.

TRYOUT INFORMATION

Roster will be cut to top 16 players after tryouts.

Any player that has played in a Varsity meet in the past is exempt from tryouts.

Tryouts start Monday March 23.

Roster Spots Determined by the following:

• Past Varsity experience

• On course scoring

• Skills Assessment

• Off-Season Practice and workouts

• Dedication to being on the team

Those making the roster are expected to make the golf team their priority.  Missing practice for doctors, illness, life events, one time events are excused, missing for club teams, out of season other sports are not excused.

PRACTICE SQUAD

Those players not making the top 16 will be offered a spot on our practice squad.  This group will have one practice per week on Mondays @ 630p for about an hour each week.
